Mornıng Report(Trive Yatırım Menkul Değerler )

• The BIST100 closed slightly higher yesterday, rising by 0.03% to 8474, with another above 100bn TRY turnover, despite facing profit-takings towards the end of the session.
• Thanks to GARAN’s promising 4Q24 results, the Banks managed to diverge positively from its peers, while the Aviation stocks faced profit-takings, along with the Mining stocks.
• ISCTR-TOASO and PETKM were yesterday’s top gainers, while ENKAI-ALARK and TUPRS were the most sold.
• As of print, the TRY is trading a tad weaker this morning at 30.37 against the USD, but conversely, a tad stronger against the Euro at 32.86, while the DXY has risen slightly to 103.60. On the Bonds’ front, both the 2yr and 10yr yields rose by 9bps and 3bps to 43.51% and 27.57%, respectively.
• Brent is trading at higher compared to yesterday’s closing level at $82.24, and Ounce GOLD is flat at 2034, ahead of today’s FOMC meeting, as of print.
• The Eurozone recorded a slight rise in growth rate of 0.1% y/y, but a quarterly fall of 0.1%, just barely avoiding a recession.
AGENDA:
• Today, the most compelling macro event will be the FOMC meeting today from the US, and though no rate changes are expected, post-rate speech conference by Powell will be carefully followed as to hints to when the rate cuts will assume.as well as the US ADP figures, whereas local macro watchers will be tuning into the Foreign Trade numbers and Foreign Tourist Arrivals, and Germany will be disclosing its Inflation numbers today. Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Simsek will also be speaking today.

CORPORATE:
• ASELS: Disclosed yesterday during the session that it signed a €20mn agreement with a local buyer.
• GRTRK: Disclosed that its energy subsidiary RALYH has applied with the Energy Regulation Board to be an energy distributor.
