Market Watch (Şeker Yatırım)

The BIST100 Index started Wednesday on a positive trend, closed the day at 5,523.49, down 1.83%. The banking Index diverged positively, down 0.52%. Technical indicators point out that the volatility in the Index may continue. However, we think that sharp pullbacks will continue to be used as buying opportunities for the medium term due to the fact that BIST has become an alternative investment tool among TRY-based assets in an inflationary environment and strong domestic investor demand. We expect sectoral divergences to occur before the next balance sheet period. On the global side, the U.S. and European Stock Markets ended the day with rising, while Asian Stock Markets followed a mixed course. While the VIX Index regressed to 22, it can be expected that the volatile course in the U.S. Stock Markets will continue during the week, albeit limited, unless the index falls 20. Although the Index is expected to continue its course since BIST's correlation with abroad has weakened, profit sales may also occur in BIST if the sales in global stock markets are strong. Asian Stock Markets were up this morning, with the U.S. futures and German Dax futures slightly selling. VIOP-30 Index closed the evening session flat. While the Index is expected to start the day with a slightly positive trend, we expect the daily rises to be used as a selling opportunity and the volatile course in the index to continue. SUPPORT: 5,478 - 5,380 RESISTANCE: 5,568 - 5,628.
